There’s nothing I love more than a rainy day, which is convenient because April in North Carolina is nothing but rain. So grab all the blankets in your house (and I mean every single one), snuggle under your blanket pile, and pick up one of these books for the ultimate atmospheric and slightly moody reading experience.
Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
This moody fantasy follows three sisters who compete to be the queen of their land. The atmosphere is so rich and unique; if you love a good fantasy with plenty of subplots mixed in, this book is for you.

They Both Die At The End is definitely a great book to read on a rainy day! This was a great list!
Totally agree!! It’s the perfect mix of sadness and humor ๐ thanks for reading!
Everything eveything is such a cute Book! I’ve just tried to read Where’d you go Bernadette but I am taking a little bit hard to read. There are quite a few characters and because it always changes from one person to another I get a little bit confused. But is it worth trying again? xx
I definitely think it’s worth another go! I felt the same way and wasn’t sure I would be able to get into the story with so much going on, but I found it quite funny!
I’m giving it another go than as soon as I finished my new book!
Yay! Hope you enjoy it the second time around ๐
