Annie’s favorite podcasts… and a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Before I talk about what I’ve been listening to lately…

I have a new podcast called Hello Heroine! Through this podcast, I’m exploring what it takes to become a literary leading lady like that ones we all know and love. Episodes are 25-35 minutes and talk about growing in your confidence, feeling like a cool girl, uncertainty in the future, etc.

And after you check out my most recent episode, here’s what else I’ve been listening to lately…

The Betchelor Podcast
If you love watching The Bachelor as much as I do, you’ll love this hilarious podcast that recaps each episode and talks about all the week’s news from Bachelor Nation.

Just Break Up Podcast
Just Break Up is a question-and-answer podcast where hosts Sam and Sierra respond to letters from listeners and provide love advice. They’re the perfect mix of humor and genuine wisdom.

What We Said
Best friends Jaci and Chelsey team up in this podcast to cover a wide variety of topics, from Mormon culture to getting married young to life as an influencer. Their episodes are a nice, easy listen.

Royally Obsessed
If you’re like me and want to get your news in bite-sized chunks, I highly recommend this royal recap podcast. Every week, the hosts review what went on in the British royal family.

Thick & Thin
In Thick & Thin, host Katy Bellotte spills some major tea and talks about the ups and downs of life as a twenty-something in NYC. She’s unafraid to tackle deep emotions and weaves in a little bit of history too.

The BossBabe Podcast
If you’re looking for a podcast that’s a little shorter but still packs a punch, I highly recommend this one! Each episode tackles a topic that helps entrepreneurs grow their business.

The SSR Podcast
This podcast is a blast from the past! Each episode covers a nostalgic childhood book; you know, the kind that we all read but are probably ashamed to admit that we read.

Harry Potter & The Sacred Text
Hosts Vanessa and Casper read the Harry Potter books like a religious text, analyzing both the language and the overall message of the books. It’s a great listen for Harry Potter fans who want to gain some new perspective on the series.

Enneagram & Coffee
In this podcast, host Sarajane breaks down various aspects of the Enneagram, a personality typing system that breaks people down into one of nine categories based on their basic fear and basic desire. I highly recommend if you love the Ennegram and want to learn more, or are just getting started.

Dear Hank & John
How about something light and humorous? Each episode, brothers Hank Green and John Green answer listener questions that range from absurd to serious with dubious advice and lots of running inside jokes.

Office Ladies
The perfect podcast for fans of The Office! Jenna Fischer (who played Pam) and Angela Kinsey (who played Angela) rewatch one episode of The Office and provide behind-the-scenes facts and insights into the episode’s production and development.

Ologies with Alie Ward
Ologies discusses the weird sciences and fields of study out there that you may not know. Every episode focuses on a new -ology; this podcast is a great way to learn new things while still being entertained.

My Favorite Murder Podcast
I love true crime, but I scare far too easily, and this podcast is the perfect one for me. Hosts Karen and Georgia provide plenty of comic relief amidst the stories of gruesome murders that satisfy that true crime sweet tooth while maintaining your faith in humanity.

Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know
And if you’re down for some conspiracy theories, look no further. Ask me about the Titanic conspiracy theory…

Stuff You Missed in History Class
Lastly, the perfect podcast for learning a bite-sized bit about something you should have learned. These episodes are pretty short, so if you have fifteen minutes of silence to fill, this is the perfect podcast for you.

What are you listening to lately? Any recommendations?

  1. Ooh your new podcast sounds awesome! I don’t listen to a lot of podcasts but I have been doing so more often lately, so I will check it out. <3 I've been listening to Julia Robertson's Brave Story podcast.
