After a loooooong drought, I’m finally hopping back on a plane tomorrow and heading off to explore a new place! My friends and I are celebrating our college graduation with a quick trip to Palm Springs and Las Vegas.
One of my absolute requirements when vacationing like this is a pool! I love to swim and there’s nothing better than laying out in the sun with a good book. Here’s what I’ve got lined up to read this week.

Anna K: Away by Jenny Lee
I read the first book in this series about a year ago and it was the perfect dishy novel! Anna K read as if Anna Karenina had been transported into the glittery world of Gossip Girl. I loved the drama and complexity in Anna K (click here to read my full review) and am looking forward to continuing the story. Thanks to Booksparks for the free review copy!
Self Care by Leigh Stein
Self Care is about Richual, a fictional wellness brand and community, that comes under fire when one of their founders makes an insensitive comment about the President’s daughter. I think this will have the same updated, timely feel as Anna K: Away and be just as dishy.
The Office of Historical Corrections by Danielle Evans
I always like taking a short story collection on vacation because it’s nice to have some variety in between longer books. I don’t know a ton about this novel except that it’s gained a ton of traction among readers. Looking forward to seeing what the hype is about, and of course I’m in love with the cover.
