No trip to the coast is complete without a good vacation book. I’m heading down to Florida this week and can’t wait to soak up some sun and dive into some stories. Here’s my Florida beach vacation reading list:
Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I finally got my hands on bookstagram’s summer darling! TJR wrote one of my favorite books of 2020 and I can’t wait to read her take on 1980s Malibu. Bring on all the salty ocean vibes and life-of-the-rich-and-famous vibes.
The Guncle by Steven Rowley
Another witty destination book! Inspired by my recent trip to Palm Springs, I’m packing this book about GUP (Gay Uncle Patrick) who figures out how to care for his rambunctious niece and nephew.
Finlay Donovan Is Killing It by Elle Cosimano
Wife and mom Finlay finds herself tangled up in a contract killing scheme. Even worse, she’s got a talent for it. I’ve been reaching for thrillers lately and this seems like the perfect mix of comedy and suspense.
